ResumesKey helps you build, score, and tailor your resume. Here's exactly what we collect and how we use it — in plain English.
What we collect
- Account info — your name and email when you sign up, or that we receive from Google or Apple if you use social sign-in.
- Resume & profile content — everything you add to your resumes and cover letters: work history, education, skills, contact details, and any photo you upload for an AI headshot.
- Usage analytics & crash diagnostics — data about how the app is used and technical reports when something breaks, so we can fix it.
How we use it
- To run your account and store your resumes.
- To generate and rewrite content, score your resume against ATS systems and recruiters, and tailor it to jobs you choose.
- To provide support and improve the product.
We do not sell your personal information.
Third parties we share with
We share only what's needed to run the service: AI providers (to generate and score content), our payment processor (for billing), Apple and Google (for sign-in and in-app subscriptions), and analytics, email, and storage providers. Each handles your data under its own privacy terms.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and everything associated with it at any time by emailing privacy@resumeskey.com — we'll permanently remove your data.
Your rights
You can access your data, export your resumes anytime as PDF or DOCX from inside the app, and request deletion. Email us to exercise any of these rights.
